The Informal working group, facilitated by Ms. Alice Revell (New Zealand), resumed its work on area-based management tools, including marine protected areas.

Statements were made by representatives of States.

Following announcements from the Secretary of the Conference, the Facilitator informed the group that it will continue its discussions in the afternoon and adjourned the morning session.
