Description

Panel Discussion on the UN and Development.

Panel debate with Olav Kjørven, Special Adviser to the UNDP Administrator on the Post-2015 Development Agenda (UNDP).
Moderated by Deborah Seward, Director of the Strategic Communications Division in the UN's Department of Public Information.

The "UNEARTH Exhibition" celebrates almost seven decades of the Organization's activities and immerses visitors in its collection of photos, campaign posters, videos, films and audio recording.

The United Nations will celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2015.

Ahead of this momentous occasion, the Department of Information (DPI) and the Gabarron Foundation have collaborated to create an unprecedented exhibit of UN iconography.

UNEARTH not only showcases the achievements of the UN in Peace and Security, Human Rights, Development and Humanitarian Assistance since its inception, but also highlights the challenges facing the Organization in the next decades.
