The 60th session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD60) will take place largely online from 7 to 16 February 2022 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Commission is the advisory body responsible for the social development pillar of global development.
Priority Theme: Inclusive and resilient recovery from COVID-19 for sustainable livelihoods, well-being and dignity for all: eradicating poverty and hunger in all its forms and dimensions to achieve the 2030 Agenda.
Emerging Issue: National policies and measures implemented by Member States to combat hunger and poverty in times of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Challenges to get on track towards the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
