remaining to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
sustainable development needs investment. Social, environmental, health,
urban and economic challenges call for citizen-led innovative financial
solutions and transformative action.
Philanthropy has championed
the development of innovative finance solutions that have been
successful in enabling, accelerating, and harnessing private capital
markets for public good. This roundtable will bring together
foundations, philanthropists and industry visionaries to examine the
intersection of democracy, funding, technology and sustainable urban

with the SDGs is crucial for ensuring sustainable and deep collaborative
partnerships between philanthropic organizations, governments, the
United Nations and other development partners, civil society, and
business - including social enterprises.

Philanthropies Roundtable will bring together founders, philanthropists
and industry visionaries to examine the intersection of democracy,
funding, technology and sustainable urban development. The discussion
