By presenting concrete experiences, this side event will streamline partnerships and synergies that are being implemented in public procurement, and that have demonstrated an increase in efficiency, sustainable value and transparency.
Objectives:
- Present concrete actions and experiences of joint efforts about the potential to fight corruption through efficient and transparent public procurement.
- Support Member States, UN organizations and agencies in identifying innovative and replicative partnerships and synergies in this context.
- Identify how public procurement practices based on efficiency, sustainable value and transparency can further support countries to achieve the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda.
