This side event focuses on women leaders at the forefront of action on climate-resilient food systems in Canada and internationally; speakers will bring both personal and professional insights on their experience and growth as leaders in their fields.

Across the world, women play an essential role in agriculture and depend on farming for their livelihoods, but they continue to face the effects of climate change. Building food systems that are gender equitable and climate resilient are integral to key development goals.
