Summary
The 2023 resumed session on the Committee on NGOs will take place on 15 to 23 May 2023 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Committee will meet again on 5 June 2023 to adopt its report of the session.
Description
The session is expected to consider 204 new applications for status by NGOs as well as 296 applications deferred from earlier sessions. The Committee will also review 280 quadrennial reports of NGOs in general or special consultative status, as well as 112 quadrennial reports from 90 organizations, deferred from earlier sessions. The sessions' recommendations will be sent to the Economic and Social Council for its approval during the Management Segment to be held on 25 and 26 July 2023.
