Description
Panel discussion. Guests: Winslow Porter, The Tree Experience and Liz Canner, Lost City of Mer. Moderator: Maher Nasser, Director, UN Outreach Division. This event took place on the side of the High-Level week of the 74th session of United Nations General Assembly. Since 2016, the SDG Media Zone has been one of the main features of the UN General Assembly high-level week, bringing together UN Member States, content creators, influencers, activists and media partners to highlight actions and solutions in support of the Sustainable Development Goals. Through impactful in-depth interviews, panel discussions and Ted-style talks, the SDG Media Zone takes the conversation on advancing the 2030 Agenda out of the policy sphere and into the public discourse. During the high-level week, the SDG Media Zone hosts impactful, dynamic and in-depth conversations with decision-makers, influencers and media partners – live-streamed on UN WebTV and promoted by partnering media organizations. Conversations focus on the main themes of the week – the Sustainable Development Goals, climate action, universal health coverage, financing for development, and Small Island Developing States.
