Remittances are a critical lifeline, for many vulnerable people around the world. Over 200 million migrant workers today, send money home, to their over 800 million family members.
Despite a massive 65% increase in migrants sending money home via digital transfers in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of their rural family members struggle to access mobile banking services which could help lift them out of poverty.
