Special Event Marking United Nations Universal Children's Day

To celebrate the 2017 United Nations Universal Children's Day (2017), the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) invited children from around the world to take "take over" key roles in media, politics, business, sport and entertainment to voice their support for millions of their peers who are unschooled, unprotected and uprooted.
Participants, including Miroslav Lajcák (at speaker's podium), President of the seventy-second session of the General Assembly, during the Children's Takeover event at UN headquarters in New York.
