Secretary-General Addresses Opening of 78th General Assembly Debate

Secretary-General António Guterres (at podium and on screen) addresses the opening of seventy-eighth session of the General Assembly Debate on theme "Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability for all."

"Let us be determined to heal divisions and forge peace. Determined to uphold the dignity and worth of every person.
Determined to realize the Sustainable Development Goals and effectively leave no one behind. Determined to reform multilateralism for the 21st century and come together for the common good," said the Secretary-General.
