Security Council Extends Mandate of MINUSCA

The Security Council adopts resolution 2709 (2023) extending the mandate of United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) until 15 November 2024. The resolution was adopted with 14 votes in favour, none against and one abstention (Russian Federation).
