High-level Pledging Event on United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund for 2024

Secretary-General António Guterres (centre) addresses the high-level pledging event on the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) for 2024. At left is Verónica Nataniel Macamo Dlhovo, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Mozambique, and at right is Joyce Msuya, Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator at the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

The event aims to mobilize financial resources to ensure the CERF is well-placed to effectively provide time-critical, life-saving humanitarian assistance in response to the exponentially growing humanitarian needs.
