President of Security Council Briefs Press on Small Arms and Women, Peace, and Security

Gabriela Sommerfeld, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of the Republic of Ecuador and President of the Security Council for the month of December, briefs reporters on behalf of Security Council signatories of the Statement of Shared Commitments for the principles of Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) on the threat posed by diversion, illicit trafficking and misuse of small arms and light weapons and their ammunition to peace and security.
