Security Council Renews Mandate of UN Disengagement Observer Force

The Security Council unanimously adopts Resolution 2718 (2023) renewing the mandate of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) until 30 June 2024. The Resolution calls upon the parties concerned to implement immediately its resolution 338 (1973) of 22 October 1973.

José Javier De la Gasca LopezDomínguez, Permanent Representative of Ecuador to the United Nations and President of the Security Council for the month of December, chairs the Security Council meeting.
