Security Council Extends Mandate of UN Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus

Nathalie Broadhurst Estival, Deputy Permanent Representative of France to the United Nations and President of the Security Council for the month of January, chairs the Security Council meeting on the situation in Cyprus.

Security Council unanimously adopted resolution 2723 (2024) on extending the mandate of United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) until 31 January 2025.
