Security Council Delegation Visits Colombia

Security Council members meet with Gustavo Petro (centre, between flags), President of Colombia, during the UN Security Council's visit to Colombia. Council members traveled there to learn first-hand about the implementation of the 2016 Final Peace Agreement and the new challenges and progress of peace efforts in the country.

On the right are Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett, Permanent Representative of Guyana to the United Nations and President of the Security Council for the month of February, and Carlos Ruiz Massieu, Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia.
