General Assembly Adopts Resolution on Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biological Diversity of Areas beyond National Jurisdiction

The General Assembly adopts a resolution on an "Agreement under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biological Diversity of Areas beyond National Jurisdiction".

The Resolution was adopted by a recorded vote of 164 in favour to 2 against (Russian Federation, Syria), with 2 abstentions (Angola, Togo).
