Acting Military Advisor Visits UNMISS

Cheryl Pearce, Acting Military Advisor of the Office of Military Affairs (OMA) at UN Headquarters, visits the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) to meet with Mission leadership and peacekeepers. The Acting Military Advisor visited Bor in Jonglei State, where she engaged with the Sector East peacekeepers and received operational briefings on their challenges and achievements, as well as a demonstration of an all-terrain vehicle which is being used to increase mobility to support the mandate of UNMISS.

Ms. Pearce is interviewed by Radio Miraya, UNMISS's radio station at Tomping Camp in Juba.
