Nick Herd First Ever Guest Editor for UN News Live Blog

Nick Herd, activist, actor and talk show host, leads the UN News team as its first ever guest editor for the live blog on the opening day of the 17th session of the Conference of States Parties (COSP17) to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The COSP17 takes place at UN Headquarters from 11 to 13 June 2024.

Mr. Herd, who is from Canada, was born with Down syndrome. He is passionate about disability rights and his mission is to amplify voices and drive change.
