Secretary-General Visits Uzbekistan

Secretary-General António Guterres (left) meets with Tanzila Narbayeva (right), Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.

The Secretary-General is on a visit in Central Asia. His first stop is Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Secretary-General will then continue to Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. The Secretary-General will hold meetings with each country's head of state and other senior government officials. He will also visit projects related to climate change and speak with local communities and youth activists.
