Secretary-General Visits Uzbekistan

Secretary-General António Guterres (centre right) meets with Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov (centre left), Energy Minister of Uzbekistan, as he visits the solar photovoltaic plant ''Riverside'' in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The Secretary-General is on a visit in Central Asia. His first stop is Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Secretary-General will then continue to Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. The Secretary-General will hold meetings with each country's Heads of States and other senior government officials. He will also visit projects related to climate change and speak with local communities and youth activists.
