Security Council Meets on Situation in Yemen

Vassily Nebenzia (fourth from bottom at table), Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation and President of the Security Council for the month of July, chairs the Security Council meeting on the situation in the Middle East (Yemen).

The Council unanimously adopted Resolution 2742 (2024) extending until 14 July 2025 the mandate of the UN Mission to support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA), as contained in resolution 2691 (2023), to support the implementation of the Agreement on the City of Hodeidah and Ports of Hodeidah, Salif, and Ras Issa as set out in the Stockholm Agreement.
