Presidential Inauguration in Liberia

Senator George Manneh Weah took the oath of office as the 24th President of the Republic of Liberia at the main stadium outside Monrovia. The oath was administered by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Liberia, Francis Korkpor, marking the first peaceful transfer of power - in 73 years - from one elected President to the next.
