Meeting on Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow during High-level Political Forum 2024

Paula Narváez Ojeda, President of the Economic and Social Council, addresses the meeting on "Multilateral solutions for a better tomorrow: the role of ECOSOC towards a sustainable and resilient path by 2030" during the High-level Political Forum (HLPF) 2024. The meeting included an introduction of the Secretary-General's reports on the theme of HLPF and the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), and on long-term impact of current trends on the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Introduction of the report of the Committee on Development Policy.

The High-level Political Forum 2024 (HLPF) is convened under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council (8-17 July 2024). The theme of the forum is "Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: the effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions".
