Security Council Meets on Situation in Afghanistan

Roza Otunbayeva (left), Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Afghanistan and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, and Sima Sami Bahous, Executive Director of UN Women, attend the Security Council meeting on the situation in Afghanistan. The Council heard a report of the Secretary-General on the situation in Afghanistan and its implications for international peace and security.
