Meryl Streep (left), actor, and Habiba Sarabi (centre), former Minister for Women's Affairs of Afghanistan, watch as Margot Wallström, former Swedish Foreign Minister, addresses reporters following the "The Inclusion of Women in the Future of Afghanistan" meeting. The meeting was about the situation of women in Afghanistan after a series of laws were enacted that formalized the systematic erasure of women and girls from public life.
