Chair of Global Leaders Group on Antimicrobial Resistance and Quadripartite Principals Briefs Press on Antimicrobial Resistance

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), briefs reporters on the significance of the High-Level Meeting (HLM) on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and its outcome.

"AMR could unwind a hundred years of medical progress, making infections that are easily treatable today a death sentence," said Dr. Tedros.

the Global Leaders Group on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR Leaders) and the Quadripartite Principals, which include the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), who addressed the journalists.
