Security Council Extends Mandate of UN Interim Security Force for Abyei

Security Council adopts Resolution 2760 (2024) extending until 15 November 2025 the mandate of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA). The resolution was adopted with 14 votes in favour, 0 against and 1 abstention (Russian Federation).
