Secretary-General Holds Press Conference ahead of G20 Meeting

Secretary-General António Guterres briefs reporters during a press conference ahead of the annual G20 meeting in Rio de Janeiro.

The Secretary-General is in Brazil, to attend the annual G20 meeting. At the G20, the Secretary-General will address sessions on social inclusion and the fight against hunger and poverty, the reform of global governance institutions, as well as sustainable development and energy transitions. In Rio de Janeiro, the Secretary-General will also hold a bilateral meeting with Luis Inácio Lula da Silva, President of Brazil.
