General Assembly Holds Election of Members of Economic and Social Council

Dmitry S. Chumakov, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations, introduces two amendments to a draft resolution on "Safety and security of humanitarian personnel and protection of United Nations personnel" during the 49th plenary meeting of the General Assembly.

The Assembly also held elections of members of the Economic and Social Council.
