General Assembly Holds 49th Plenary Meeting

Celia Kafureka Nabeta, Minister Counsellor of the Permanent Mission of Uganda to the UN, introduces a draft resolution on "International cooperation on humanitarian assistance in the field
of natural disasters, from relief to development" during the 49th plenary meeting of the General Assembly.

The Assembly also held elections of members of the Economic and Social Council.
