General Assembly Holds 49th Plenary Meeting of General Assembly

Nicola Jane Forbes Clase, Permanent Representative of Sweden to the United Nations, introduces a resolution on the "Strengthening of the coordination of emergency humanitarian assistance of the United Nations" during the 49th plenary meeting of the General Assembly.

The Assembly also held elections of members of the Economic and Social Council.
