Pushing For Progress Event during 69th Session of Commission on Status of Women

Þorbjörg Sigríður Gunnlaugsdóttir (centre on screen and on dais), Minister of Justice of Iceland, addresses the event titled "Nordic ministers' panel: Join us in Pushing for Progress!" on the occasion of the sixty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69/Beijing+30).

Today, growing resistance, regression and push-back against gender equality threatens women's and girls' rights everywhere. The Nordic ministers have signed a common declaration to meet this push-back and to keep pushing for progress. During this event, Nordic ministers for gender equality will discuss urgent challenges, bold strategies, and advancements already made.
