Pushing For Progress Event during 69th Session of Commission on Status of Women

Þorbjörg Sigríður Gunnlaugsdóttir, Minister of Justice of Iceland, addresses the event titled "Nordic ministers' panel: Join us in Pushing for Progress!" on the occasion of the sixty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69/Beijing+30).

Today, growing resistance, regression and push-back against gender equality threatens women's and girls' rights everywhere. The Nordic ministers have signed a common declaration to meet this push-back and to keep pushing for progress. During this event, Nordic ministers for gender equality will discuss urgent challenges, bold strategies, and advancements already made.
