Representatives of NGO Karama Briefs Press

Brigitte Chelebian, Executive Director and Founder of the organization Justice Without Frontiers, briefs the press on the work of the NGO Karama, on the sidelines of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69).

Karama is a network of civil society groups and activists in thirteen countries across Africa and the Middle East. The organisation provides an international platform for women to share skills and knowledge, with the aim of ending all types of violence against women in Africa and the Middle East. They seek to address both the root causes and consequences of violence against women through political, legal and civil activism.
