MONUSCO Force Commander Visits Peacekeepers in Ituri Province

Ulisses De Mesquita Gomes (centre), Force Commander of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), plants a tree with two peacekeepers serving with MONUSCO during an inspection tour of troops deployed in Ituri province, in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. During the tour Mr. Gomes visited Bogoro, Tchabi, Komanda, Roe, Drodo, and Bunia.
