Security Council adopts Resolution 2779 (2025) extending the mandate of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) until 30 April 2026. The resolution was adopted with 12 votes in favour, none against and 3 abstentions (China, Pakistan and the Russian Federation).
