Foreign Minister of Democratic Republic of Congo Briefs Press after Election of Non-permanent Members of Security Council

Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Francophonie of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, briefs reporters following the election of non-permanent members of the Security Council (2026-2027) during the 73rd plenary meeting of the General Assembly.

Bahrain, Colombia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Latvia, and Liberia were elected to serve as non-permanent members of the UN Security Council, with two-year terms beginning in January 2026.
