Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations Visits Lebanon

Jean-Pierre Lacroix (right), Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, visits a position of the United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon (UNIFIL) near the Blue Line and the town of Ramyah in Lebanon.

During his visit Mr. Lacroix met with senior Lebanese officials, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Lebanon, UNIFIL leadership, and fellow peacekeepers. This was his last official meeting with outgoing Head of Mission and Force Commander Lt. Gen. Aroldo Lázaro Sáenz.
