General Assembly Meets on Responsibility to Protect - Twenty Years of Commitment

Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed (centre left) and Guy Ryder (centre right), Under-Secretary-General for Policy, attend the 80th plenary meeting of the General Assembly on the theme responsibility to protect and the prevention of genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity. The Secretary-General delivered a report on "Responsibility to protect: 20 years of commitment to principled and collective action" to the Assembly.
