Head of MONUSCO Visits Goma

Bintou Keita (third from right), Special Representative of the Secretary-General in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Head of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), is greeted by a MONUSCO Staff Member at the Lava Site base in Goma.

Ms. Keita is in Goma in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for a three-day visit to discuss priorities after changes in the MONUSCO mandate, specifically in terms of protection of civilians.
