High-level Meeting to Launch Global Dialogue on AI Governance

Arnoldo Ricardo André Tinoco, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Worship of Costa Rica, addresses the high-level multi-stakeholder informal meeting to launch the Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Governance.

"Today, we launch the Global Dialogue on AI Governance at the United Nations – the world's principal venue for collective focus on this transformative technology," Secretary-General António Guterres said at the meeting.

The Global Dialogue on AI Governance is expected to become the world's principal venue for collective focus on AI and aims to create a shared space for governments, industry, civil society, and scientists to exchange best practices and foster common approaches.
