Arjanita Elezaj, Chair of the United Nations International Day of Older Persons (UNIDOP) 2025 Programme Sub-Committee of the NGO Committee on Ageing in New York, speaks during the event held to observe of the International Day of Older Persons (October 1).

The theme of 2025 is "Older Persons Driving Local and Global Action: Our Aspirations, Our Well-Being, and Our Rights".
