General Assembly Holds 17th Plenary Meeting

Annalena Baerbock, President of the eightieth session of the United Nations General Assembly, chairs the 17th plenary meeting of the General Assembly. The meeting dealt with a number of issues on the agenda, such as : Integrated and coordinated implementation of and follow-up to the outcomes of the major United Nations conferences and summits in the economic, social and related fields; Follow-up to the outcome of the Millennium Summit;
Strengthening of the United Nations system; and United Nations reform. At right is Kenji Nakano, Chief of the General Assembly Affairs Branch, Department for General Assembly and Conference Management (DGACM).
