General Assembly Meets on Necessity of Ending Embargo Imposed by United States against Cuba

The delegation of Cuba and Bruno Eduardo Rodríguez Parrilla (at right), Minister for Foreign Affairs of Cuba, attend the 22nd plenary meeting of the General Assembly on the necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba.

The Assembly adopted a resolution entitled "Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba" by recorded vote. The resolution was adopted with 165 votes in favour, 7 against, and 12 abstentions.
