Security Council Extends Mandate of UNFICYP

The Security Council voted to adopt a draft resolution extending the mandate of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) for a further period ending on 31 January 2027. The vote was 13 in favor, with 2 abstentions.
