Secretary-General Meets Wounded UNIFIL Peacekeeper

Secretary-General António Guterres (right) meets with a wounded Ghanian United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) peacekeeper during his visit to Beirut.

The UN Secretary-General called on the international community to intensify support for the Government and people of Lebanon, warning that the south of the country "risks being turned into a wasteland."
