Jamal Fares Alrowaiei, Permanent Representative of Bahrain to the United Nations and President of the Security Council for the month of April, chairs the Security Council meeting on protection of civilians in armed conflict. At right is Claudia Banz, Director of the Security Council Affairs Division of the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA).
