MINUSMA Peacekeepers Conduct Long Range Patrol on Mali

The Swedish contingent of the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) conducted a long range patrol through an area stretching from the Timbuktu region to part of the Mopti region. The purpose of the operation was to improve security and increase efforts to protect civilians.
